Carla Jean raises a brow, but she doesn't comment on what Kate's just told her about breaking into the office. Somehow, it doesn't really surprise her, and anyway, right now, any information Kate has to give her is useful. It's a hell of a lot better than being thrown into this on her own. Besides, Lord knows she wouldn't have wanted anyone else to find her standing over that body, even if she thinks she might have been able to make a good case for herself. (He was, after all, armed as well.)
